These two met on the school bus attending the same middle school in 2008. They also went to high school together for freshmen and sophomore years. In the one and only class they ever had together, they would spend time taking selfies- like this one taken in Algebra II. When Jacen began attending a different high school, it only brought them closer. They would spend hours texting and talking on the phone.

Jacen was Kaelin's date to her dance team's Belle Ball during senior year of high school. They were still just friends who were about to graduate from different high schools and hung out when they could.

The couple started dating in March 2021. Their first and favorite date night activity was attending local comedy shows in Houston.
